Discovery Call
Everything starts with a free, no-obligation call lasting 15 to 30 minutes. Your consultant will learn about your background, professional experience, financial situation, lifestyle goals, and timeline for business ownership.
This is not a sales call. The goal is to understand who you are and what you want from franchise ownership so we can identify the right opportunities. We ask about your ideal work schedule, management style, risk tolerance, and investment range.
Franchise Matching
After your discovery call, your consultant researches franchise brands from our network of over 500 partners. We evaluate each brand against your criteria and narrow the field to 3 to 5 curated options that align with your goals, budget, and lifestyle.
You receive a detailed overview of each recommended franchise, including the business model, investment range, territory availability, and why we believe it fits your profile.
Brand Introductions
Once you identify brands that interest you, we introduce you directly to the franchisor’s development team. This begins the formal discovery process. Your consultant coordinates these introductions and stays involved to answer questions and provide context.
During this stage, you will have calls with franchise development representatives, attend presentations, and learn the details of each brand’s training, support, and operations.

Due Diligence Support
As you narrow your options, we guide you through due diligence. This includes helping you understand the Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD), preparing you for validation calls with existing franchisees, and connecting you with franchise attorneys and financing resources.

Decision and Signing Day
After completing due diligence, attending Discovery Day, and consulting with your attorney and financial advisors, you are ready to decide. Your consultant is available for any final questions before you sign.
Once you sign your franchise agreement, the franchisor’s onboarding begins: training, site selection (if applicable), and launch planning. Your consultant remains a resource even after signing.

Most candidates complete the discovery and evaluation process in 60 to 90 days. Home-based and service franchises can launch in as little as 2 months, while brick-and-mortar locations may take 6 to 9 months.

Do I have to commit to anything?

That happens and it is perfectly fine. We can research additional options or revisit your criteria. Some candidates take several months. There is no rush and no cost regardless of the outcome.
Can I explore franchises while still employed?
Yes. Most of the process fits evenings and weekends. Discovery calls, FDD review, and meetings are flexible. You typically won’t need to leave your job until training begins.
